Well. I just got some excellent news. One of my best friends, who happens to live in LA, is definitely going to be in town the weekend of the con. That means it looks like I'm gonna go. The only problem is that the guest list isn't exactly blowing my skirt up. Wendy Padbury is friggin' awesome in every way, but there needs to be a Doctor there! Or Frazer Hines for a whole Second Doctor love-fest.

Any of you people know anyone who's in charge of this shindig? Encourage them to call Frazer! Ooo, or Peter Davison! NEEDZ MOAR DOCTORS!

No idea, but agreed, it would be nice to get at least one Doctor at this.

Gareth will bring the TW fans along, for sure, but it is a Doctor Who event at heart.

I suspect they're just holding off to see which actor can commit to the event, because it's always tricky. (How soon did they confirm McCoy at 19?)

Hmm. Greyhound would get me there and back for seventy-two bucks but I'd need to find a way to get from the Greyhound station to the hotel and I'd still have to find someone who'd let me sleep on the floor when I wouldn't be able to pay them for the room. Gah. If I'd known the economy would plummet I would have watched my money better last summer.

Maybe I might get really, really lucky and get some decent Christmas money from family. Or a decent amount of work next week and Christmas week.

(I will have classes that week, argh. And it will only be the second week so I don't particularly want to miss 'em. And at least I don't have classes on Fridays. I guess I can catch the nine o'clock bus on Thursday and get there at seven Friday morning, but if I want to be back in town in time to go to class on Monday I'll need to catch the bus back at THREE IN THE MORNING. Bah. Well, at least I'm used to sleeping on busses, if not very soundly.)

Sadly, I don't think Sylv and Sophie would go to the same con two years in a row. And with Colin having just been at ChiTARDIS, I'm really thinking it might be Peter's turn. Not that I would mind a repeat visit by Sylv or Colin by any means. ;-)

AWESOMESAUCES! TARDIS was great this year but Gally is SO COOL AND AWESOME and mostly I love it QUITE A LOT. It is dead good with the staying up and chatting to random people because there is a handy Starbucks in the lobby that opens at a ridiculously early hour and OH I LOVES IT. Yes. Ahem.
