The Boardwalk Empire soundtrack is SO FUCKING GOOD. (Thanks, hot stuff). This show is eating my brain. It's all Em's fault and I know she isn't even vaguely repentant, but UGH. I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT. About Gillian. About Jimmy. About the Darmodys generally and how much I want Nucky to be destroyed and how satisfying what happened to the Commodore was and how much I loathe the show-runners for the finale and GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. Eating my brain.
If you haven't watched this series, I can't recommend it more highly. Brilliantly written, brilliantly acted, complex characters, it's the kind of quality we just don't get enough of from US television. Love, love, love, love, love.
