List ten fictional characters you would have sex with (in no particular order) and tag five people to do the same.

I am totally nicking this meme from [livejournal.com profile] vandonovan because it is just too good. I mean, come on. A picspam of fictional characters I want to have dirty, dirty sex with? It's like catnip to me.

This way to the hotties... )

Now for the tagging. I'm going to call out [livejournal.com profile] livii, [livejournal.com profile] eve11, [livejournal.com profile] biichan, [livejournal.com profile] stunt_muppet, and [livejournal.com profile] eponymous_rose. But I strongly encourage anyone who wants to do this meme to go for it because Picspam of Sexy = WIN!
ceebee_eebee: (K-9)
I love K9 sooooooooooooooo much. Best robot dog in the universe. After seeing all those awesome plush K9s that people have been making from the Who pattern book, I broke down and bought it and made one for myself. I think he came out pretty darn good considering it's been ages since I did this kind of craft work.

And this is him with my kitty, just because I am dorky like that and couldn't resist:

Now, because I also can't ever seem to resist a picspam, here is a mini one of my favorite K9 pics. Could he POSSIBLY be more adorable?! No. No, he could not. Such a good dog. )

As I've said, I really love this holiday. For me, it's never been about romantic relationships, but about ALL relationships and the people I love. My friends and I give each other treats and tacky gifts and just generally revel in the pink sparkly-ness of it all. Cheers me up to no end to have a day dedicated to love in the midst of gray, gray winter.

So, I'm sending out a little love to my flist and I hope your day is filled with happiness and chocolate!

But no holiday would be complete for me without taking the opportunity to torture the true love of my life, my beautiful baby girl, Callisto. (And don't worry, she is willing to forgive quite a bit of humiliation when provided with tuna.)

There have been quite a few posts supporting Obama on my flist lately, and that's great. They've been an interesting read and I am pleased as punch to find out that the American contingent of my flist is composed mostly of Democrats. But I am a Clinton supporter. So, for the sake of balance, here is a great article by Robin Morgan that I'd like to share with you:

Goodbye To All That (#2)

Even if you are a diehard Obama fan, I hope you'll give it a read.

I have been tagged by [livejournal.com profile] niffler09:
a) List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself
b) Tag seven people to do the same
c) Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to do it"

This is way harder than it seems... )

I tag: [livejournal.com profile] janissa11, [livejournal.com profile] pdragon76, [livejournal.com profile] paperclipbitch, [livejournal.com profile] babel, [livejournal.com profile] fresleyforever, [livejournal.com profile] ginxy, [livejournal.com profile] vandonovan

And now, for something completely different...[livejournal.com profile] technosage gave me a J .

Sticking with the theme, I'm putting them in alphabetical order: ... )

I think I just found the holy grail of star wars geeks everywhere.

Check this shit out )
ceebee_eebee: (Me!)
Ok. So, [livejournal.com profile] pdragon76 tagged me for this meme. The rules are:

(1) List 5 celebrities you would have sex with without even asking questions.
(2) Put all of them IN ORDER of your lust for them. (5 - 1, 1 is the hottest.)
(3) Say which movie/show/thing it was that hooked you.
(4) Supply photos for said people.
(5) Tag five people!

I'm all about the first four, but I'm not so much about the tagging. I figure if you want to join the fun, just go for it!

I had one hell of a hard time with this list because I am an incredibly fickle woman with the attention span of an obsessive fruit fly with a meth habit. However, after a great deal of deep thought and soul-searching, I've come up with this list of five... )
ceebee_eebee: (Me!)
Ok. Why is everyone not doing this??? It's seriously the cutest thing in the history of the internet. I make a DAMN fine lookin' cartoon, if I do say so myself.

You HAVE to try this. Go HERE Seriously, it's too fun for words.

I know you were just DYING to know more about me, so here ya go. This time it was [livejournal.com profile] ethrosdemon who asked the questions:

1. What period in his 100+ yrs of straight through living do you figure Jack enjoyed the most?

Well, that is not as easy a question as I first thought. Huh. I think obviously WWII had the most profound influence on him and he seemed to genuinely love that era when he wound up back there with Tosh. But can you really enjoy a world war? Seems kinda hard to imagine that being the right word for his feeling about it. So...I'm gonna go with the era of free love. Between the music, the drugs, and the sex? Hard to imagine him not being happier than a pig in shit.

2. Do you have any tattoos, if so, of what, and if not what would you get if you did?

I do, actually. A small "ohm" on my right ankle. I got it when I was 20 years old and living in Edinburgh. I doubt if I was going to get a tattoo today I would get the same thing, but it's a reminder of one of the happiest times in my life, so I still love it. I've been thinking about getting another one for ages, but I am too indecisive these days. Maybe someday soon I'll be struck with inspiration.

3. Imagine yourself as a Mary Sue figure, what universe do you live in and who is in love with you?

Dude. Not to reveal TOO much of my deep and boundless insanity, but I imagine myself as a Mary Sue in pretty much every fandom universe ever. I don't have a talent for writing fiction, so it's the next best thing. HA! The current one I've got going involves me/Jack/Nine/Rose in a whole alternate timeline thing post The Parting of the Ways . Trust me, I'm AWESOME and they love me and coming up with scenarios definitely makes my commute a lot less boring. ;-)

4. Lemurs or wombats?

Lemurs. Full on. The chicks are Bad. Ass. They beat the crap out of each other AND the males, all while carrying babies on their backs. Does it get more fabulous than that? I think not.

5. What superhero do you like the least?

Well, I am a full on DC fan. Marvel sucks. So...I'd say Spiderman because he is a whiny little bitch. Actually, I hate a lot of Marvel characters for the same reason. Cyclops would be high on that list too. Them and all their emo bullshit.

And now it is SO past my bedtime.
ceebee_eebee: (Leia)
Ok. This is a definite first for me, but what the hell. It was fun! [livejournal.com profile] technosage quizzed me and here are my answers.

1. What's the name of one of your favorite restaurant and favorite meal there?

Ok. I'm gonna go snooty on this one. There is a restaurant called Picholine near Lincoln Center in Manhattan. I love it more than I can say. They have the single most amazing selection of cheeses in the universe. When you order a cheese course, the fromager brings over the cart and helps you choose a variety of different types, then pairs them with appropriate wines. They also bring fig cake, dates, red onion chutney, etc. as an accompaniment. I am never happier then when I am being pampered at a fine restaurant and I *never* get tired of that cheese and wine combo. Damn, but it's heaven on earth.

2. What was your favorite childhood toy?

I have a younger brother and he and I mostly had the same toys growing up. I think the ones we most enjoyed were the star wars action figures. We had EVERYONE. Even the ewoks in their ewok village and the band that played in Jabba's palace with their instruments. If we had only known how much that shit would be worth today we wouldn't have dumped it all when we got older. So sad.

And yes, I was a geek from way back...but a closet geek. No one ever guesses when they first meet me just how deep my geekiness runs. At least not until they see my collection of action figures still in their boxes and the picture of me with William Shatner. HA! Oh, how I love my scifi. ;-)

3. Chutes N' Ladders or Monopoly?

Chutes n' ladders. Absolutely. Monopoly always makes me so sad! I can't stand bankrupting my friends and loved ones. One of my best friends described me as having a hard candy shell but a gooey center, and she's so right. I'm a sarcastic bitch but a TOTAL softy. Monopoly is just too cut-throat for me.

4. Your favorite episode of Heroes, why?

EEEEEE! That is SUCH a hard question!!! I actually just spent the last few night rewatching some of my favorite moments from the series. It's amazing how different the early scenes with Bennet are when you watch them knowing who he really is. But my favorite episode? Hmmmm. I'd have to go with Distractions. It had some very weak aspects to it, but it also had these 2 scenes:

1) Claude throws Peter off a building. That might be my favorite bit in the entire season. I love Chris Eccleston with the heat of a thousand suns, and he rocked that part SO hard. The look on Peter's face when he realizes what happened, the casual glee when Claude sees that Peter managed not to die...I just ate that up. Not to mention the knock out punch and the "well, it's a start." JOY!

2) The Nathan is Claire's daddy reveal. I wanted that to be the case SOOOO badly, but then I thought it wasn't going to happen and they'd been playing us, and then BAM. I was screaming my head off when that ep ended.

So, I'd say it's probably my favorite.

5. One thing I would never think to ask, but would tell me a lot about you. :)

Ok. I'm actually gonna give you a hat trick. 3 random facts about me:

1) I volunteer at the Reptile House at the zoo because I think reptiles are just the most bad ass creatures ever and the zoo actually lets me play with snakes. It's crazy.

2) After college but before law school I traveled around most of Europe by myself. Met a lot of amazing people, saw lots of incredible shit. I doubt I will ever again be that free.

3) My first love was Princess Leia. I thought she was the most bad ass chick EVER. She was a leader, and knew how to use weapons, and was respected by everyone. I just couldn't get enough. I think she's always been the model of the perfect powerful woman for me. (The gold bikini debacle notwithstanding.) Yeah, Han Solo is a major hottie and I've come to appreciate his charms (and don't even get me started on Ewan's Obi-Wan), but as a kid? It was ALL about Leia.

So, that's me in a rather random nutshell. I'm not sure who reads this LJ, but if there is anyone out there interested in joining in the fun, here are...

THE RULES:

1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.
