ceebee_eebeeSo, I finally got a chance to listen to City of Spires, the first in a brand-spanking new trilogy of Sixth Doctor/Jamie audios.

Ok. Now that I've gotten that out of the way. OH MY EFFING GOD was that fabulous. The love! The love is just...ugh. Jamie doesn't remember the Doctor, not at all, not one bit. Which means something is definitely up with the time-space continuum or whatever because even if we ignore the existence of Season 6B (which I do NOT because Jamie and Two traveled together until Jamie died of old age and that is my personal canon, la la la I can't hear you), Jamie should still remember the events of the Highlanders.
But regardless of the fact that Jamie doesn't remember the Doctor he still follows him into danger, risks his life for him at every turn, and hugs on him at the first opportunity. BECAUSE THEIR LOVE IS SO EPIC IT TRANSCENDS ALL ATTEMPTS TO FUCK WITH MEMORIES OR THE TIME LINES!!!
Seriously, people. This audio is made of such love I don't even know what to say. It's funny, it's exciting, it's brilliant and it's everything I could have asked for from a Six/Jamie audio. I can only hope the next 2 live up to this incredibly strong opening.
