butterflysteve because I haven't posted anything here in ages and it seemed fun. Maybe this will inspire me to start actually posting things of import again. As if I ever did...
Pick your five favorite TV shows (in no particular order) and answer the following questions. (I'm totally going old school on this list because I haven't had a new favorite show since Doctor Who in yeeeears.)

E: X-Files
1. Who's your favorite character in B (Firefly)? Jayne. I admit it. It SHOULD be Zoe because she's hot and badass and awesome in every way, but she's my second favorite because Jayne is just that frigging hilarious. I <3 him. LOVE.
2. Who's your least favorite character in A (Doctor Who)? Oh, lord. I think it's a tie between the Fourth Doctor and the Tenth Doctor. I can't stand either one of them.
3. What's your favorite episode of D (Xena)? That's so hard! Ummmm...The Debt. Because I was in love with Lao Ma and I could never get enough of flashback episodes that didn't shy away from showing just how truly horrific and evil Xena had been and the kinds of atrocities she'd committed.
4. What's your favorite season of E (X-Files)? Second season. I think it had the highest number of brilliant eps, including one of my all-time favorites, Irresistible.
6. Who is your anti-ship in B (Firefly)? Mal/Zoe. No way, no how, no sir.
7. How long have you watched A (Doctor Who)? Since the reboot, though I quickly went back to explore the original series and realized it was undiluted genius in every possible way and now I consider myself a grumpy old-skool fan. ;-)
8. How did you become interested in C (Hunter)? DeeDee McCall was my second childhood crush. (With Princess Leia being my first). I don't remember how I started watching Hunter since I was like...nine when it began airing, but I NEVER MISSED AN EP. I used to tape them when we got our first VCR and watch them over and over again. I actually still have some of the tapes because they are labeled in my little girl handwriting and I think it's adorable.
9. Who's your favorite actor/actress in D (Xena)? Honestly? I am going to say this is a toss up between Hudson Leick as Callisto (I named my cat after her) and Marton Csokas as Borias (the scene where he's killed still makes me choke up).
10. Which do you prefer: Show A or B or E (Doctor Who, Firefly or X-Files) Not even a question. Doctor Who is it for me.
11. Which show have you seen more episodes of, A or C? (Doctor Who or Hunter) I've pretty much scene every episode of both shows, but I guess Hunter would win out here just because it's like 40 years worth of tv vs. eight years.
12. If you could be anyone from D (Xena), who would you be? No one! Are you shitting me? Who would want to live in THAT universe? I suppose if I had to choose I would pick one of the amazons like Ephiny or Solari.
13. How would you kill off your favorite character in A (Doctor Who)? If I'm going to say that the Doctor is my favorite character, because he IS, then I'd want him to go out saving one person. Not the whole universe, just ONE person. Because that would be beautiful.
14. Give a random quote from A (Doctor Who)? Second Doctor (the BEST Doctor): "Our lives are different from anybody else's. That's the exciting thing. Nobody in the universe can do what we're doing."
15. There was, oddly, no question number 15. Why? I have no answer.
16. Would a C/D crossover work? (Hunter/Xena) Hell. No. Except in crack-fic.
17. Pair 2 characters in A that would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple. (Doctor Who) I pair EVERYONE in Doctor Who. But unlikely couples? I'll go multi-Doctor. (1) Martha Jones and Harry Sullivan. I've read the fic and it is GOOD. (2) Sixth Doctor and Donna Noble. Again...HELL YES to the fic.
18. Has E inspired you in any way? (X-Files) It really inspired me fannishly. It was pretty much the first series that I ever became deeply involved in online fandom for. It's also the first series I was able to read a ton of fanfic for.
19. Overall, which show has a better cast, B or D? (Firefly or Xena) Damn it, I'm going with Firefly. Even though Xena had a fantastic cast.
20. Which has better theme music, C or E? (Hunter or X-files) I'm going with Hunter on this one. It was the theme music of my childhood. And it Works For Me. ;-)

I haven't yet! To be honest, I was ready to give up on the new series because...well, for reasons I've gone into many times before. I didn't even watch the specials (except for Waters of Mars because they aired it at one of the cons I was at) but people keep saying that Eleven is more like an old school Doctor and the series is more like it used to be....and, well, I'm gonna give in and watch. But not for a few more weeks. I want to be able to sit down and watch like 4 eps in a row.
Also? I HAVE TO POST MORE! I'm getting fannish about Who again (even if it's for the audios) so, yeah. Hopefully that will inspire me. It sad when I'm out of fandom. I mean, shit! You had a KID and you still manage to post. RP is a bitch goddess. ;-)
