I mean, really. SERIOUSLY?! The accents they are doing in this Big Finish 5th Doctor Stockbridge trilogy. Are they for REAL?

Please. SomeBrit. Explain this to me. Where the hell is Stockbridge supposed to be? And do people actually HAVE this accent? I've lived in the UK and traveled extensively through England, Scotland and Wales and I have NEVER heard an accent like this.

It's...yeah. Is it for real?

Ditto, actually. I've read the first of the Fifth Doctor comics set there, and then the first of Izzy's comics (Stockbridge being her home town too), but that's as far as I got. Oh, and the comic wherein Ten revisited Stockbridge, but yeah, don't really know, but I'm presuming the comic strip town's in Hampshire too...

If they sound like they're from the West Country or Somerset then it's probably a made up accent as Hampshire doesn't have an actual defined accent like some other cities like Liverpool (Scouse), Birmingham (Brummie) or London (cockney.)

If it's Stockbridge in Edinborough then that's probably Scottish local dialect that you're listening to.

I have no idea though as I haven't heard it.
