I might be ever so slightly fixated on the Minutemen. Just...slightly.

And apparently there are going to be more scenes with them in the DVD release. \o/

I just have a question about the discrepancy between the title being Watchmen and this group knowing themselves as the Minutemen?

My favorite part was Dr. Manhattan reflected in the astronaut's helmet. Also that gorgeous hippie girl.

The title comes from the translation of the Latin quote "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" It's popularly translated to "Who watches the watchmen?"... which is one of the themes of the film. These superheroes watch over us, but who watches them?
