WHY OF COURSE SHE IS. (But she's never gonna get mentioned in the show, or in a very obscure and convoluted way. On the other hand, companions from the Old Series ™ never get mentioned either...)

A Benny reference would be awesome. Especially since I just listened to an audio that referenced a solely book companion, one that most people try to ignore at that, so if the show followed into the cross-spin-off-referencing footsteps, that'd be cool.
