ceebee_eebeeSo, I've been messing around with photoshop for a couple of weeks now and I think I am finally figuring how to use it. I mostly still suck at using it, but at least I haven't thrown the computer out the window out of frustration or given up entirely.
Anyway, a while back I was looking for some Big Trouble in Little China icons and couldn't find any ANYWHERE. That is completely unacceptable. This is Jack Burton we're talking about. The man deserves icons. So, with my novice skillz, I did what I could to rectify the oversight. The one I'm using for this post is my favorite, but here are four others that I think came out ok.
Who are these people? Friends of yours, huh? Now this really pisses me off to no end!
"Henry Swanson's my name, and excitement's my game."
"I'd go with you..."
"I know. There's a problem with your face."
China is here, Mr. Burton.
So, there you go. Obviously you are free to take and use if you don't think they are total crap. And I leave you with these words of wisdom:
When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."

on 2008-10-19 03:10 am (UTC)You could try putting a box around the icon if you wanted (highlight and then Edit > Stroke and that will open up a dialogue box that asks you your stroke preferences; I recommend trying location: inside, width: 1 or 2px).
