Unpopular opinions?

Another meme, ganked from prettyquotable this time.

Name a fandom, and I'll give you the scoop on at least three of my unpopular opinions related to that fandom.

To be honest, I'm not sure what unpopular opinions I actually HAVE because I never really think about it that way. I'd say the possible fandoms to request are: Doctor Who, Supernatural, Heroes, Star Trek, Star Wars, Batman, BSG, X-files, Farscape, Lexx, Xena, James Bond...or pretty much anything else I've watched in the last 15 years.

Hit me! I'm probably more curious about what my answers will be than you are. ;-)

My favourite Bond is Dalton (even though his movies were crap), and my favourite Doctor is Nine. I am destined to go against the flow!

I liked Dalton quite a bit. Moreso in hindsight. There really isn't a single Bond actor I didn't like. They all had their positives and negatives, and a lot of the negatives had more to do with the storytelling than the actors.

Dalton, to me, was the Bond of the books; Craig is the Bond that would be written today. I can agree that Sean Connery is a kind of classic figure, but I find him so repellent (see above, plus he hits women and thinks it's okay) that it's really hard for me to care about him. At least Moore didn't take himself too seriously, which I always appreciate.

I would love for CE to play a Bond villain opposite Daniel Craig - DC could get that homoerotic subtext he's been wishing for, and we already know they can bring it!

CE and DC as childhood friends whose lives keep crossing over 30 years.

Actually, CE was supposed to play Geordie, DC's character, but he lobbied to get the more complicated part, Nicky, and when he won that argument (thank God, he was brilliant beyond belief as Nicky, even though he was not at the technical level he is now), they then had to hire someone else and DC got his big break.

They had really wonderful chemistry. This scene is hysterical, and the photos give you a bit of a sense of it.
