I love this meme, but I hate the fact that I've never been anywhere in South America or Africa. I must rememdy this ASAP.

Top 5 future destinations? (1) Ecuador, (2) Namibia, (3) India, (4) Korea, (5) Vietnam.

As for the US? This is one of the main reasons I love my job. ;-)

Tsk tsk, Portugal is like a big grey hole in the middle of that European redness. Shame!

Of course, since the only countries highlighted in red in my map would be Portugal and Spain (and Portugal really doesn't count, what with it being my home country and all) I'm not the best person to criticize someone for not visiting a particular place. :P

I do feel shame! Especially because my parents have been there and I was all set to go during my backpacking year but it fell through at the last minute. And now that Europe is so prohibitively expensive for Americans, I don't know when I'll get another chance to visit Portugal. ::sigh::

But you didn't answer my last question! Where's your number one dream travel destination if money and time weren't a problem?

Well, since I'm particularly obsessed with that aspect of my cultural heritage, I think any of the Celtic Nations (Brittany, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall or Isle of Man) would be my #1 choice. Scotland might win over the others because of the increased chance of seeing men in kilts and hearing that accent (yes, I'm shallow).
If we exclude anything Celtic, then Japan would be my choice.

Scotland is SO SO SO SO awesome. I highly recommend it. I lived there for about sixth months after I finished university and it was f-ing brilliant. I'd move there in a heartbeat if I could. I can't imagine you wouldn't love it.

Ooooh. No map creations here, but Arizona, Pennsylvania, Delaware (literally by walking across the border), Oregon, Florida (...I think?), New York, Massachussetts, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Paris (France), and Israel. And I live in California.

You've been to a bunch of states I haven't been to yet. I'd LOVE to see Montana and Arizona and Wyoming especially.

How was Israel? I've heard wonderful things.
