I know I should be working on my who_otp post that's due tomorrow, but persiflage_1 has just fallen in love with Evelyn Smythe and the resulting squee has made me fall in love with her all over again. So, in honor of this most brilliant of companions (and the fact that the sound editing program livii introduced me to is SO FUN), I've decided to clip the moments from the Sixth Doctor audios that I think best exemplify just how much Six adores Evelyn. And he really does adore her SO, SO much. It's friggin' brilliant.



Needless to say, if you are painfully spoiler-phobic, these clips are NOT FOR YOU. Honestly, though, I don't think the clips themselves are particularly spoilery for anything but how fabulous the Sixth Doctor thinks Evelyn is.

ETA: Even though these aren't of Six/Evelyn, they are still too cute not to include. I ♥ them.

HE TOTALLY DID!!! They are just so magical together because they respect each other SO much. And being with someone he respects changes his personality for the better. She made him a better man. A lot like Barbara did for the First Doctor, now that I think about it...

The Doctor really needs to travel with mature women more often. They are clearly good for him. ;-)

That would be FABULOUS. Alas, I don't think that's ever gonna happen. We DO get Evelyn-Mel interaction, though. And it's glorious. IMO, Evelyn gets one of the best goodbyes of any companion.

It's called Amadeus (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/7392) and, I believe, it's strictly for macs. Though they may have a pc version, I'm not sure. It's SO COOL. Very simple to use, I figured it out in maybe...10 minutes or so? It's pretty addictive.
