Exactly!!! I think maybe that was why it was so incredibly easy for me to fall in love with him. Just one episode and you can see he IS the Doctor. I bet if more New Who fans watched some Two they would fall for him as well. I think it's impossible not to.
As for Jamie, I see all those pictures and oddly enough, what I first thought of is Six's reaction upon seeing Jamie again in The Two Doctors -- there's such tenderness and depth of feeling there, and even the still pictures of Two and Jamie tell you why.
Ugh. I'm getting all choked up just thinking about it. I mean that was hundreds of years later, right? And he was still in love. ::sigh:: They really are the best pairing of them all.
