When you watch him, you can truly see every Doctor.
YES. One of the many things I love about watching Two is how a little moment will bring Four to mind, and then another will remind me of Nine, and then Seven, and so on -- in a way that doesn't happen when I watch One, as much as I love him. It's like every actor that came after is building on Troughton's performance, consciously or not.
As for Jamie, I see all those pictures and oddly enough, what I first thought of is Six's reaction upon seeing Jamie again in The Two Doctors -- there's such tenderness and depth of feeling there, and even the still pictures of Two and Jamie tell you why.
