So, that means yet another post about Sapphire & Steel. I'm listening to the BF audio Zero at the moment and I looooooooooove it. Gold and Silver have been assigned! Anyway, I've come to some conclusions about the relationships between the Elements:

Sapphire and Steel are totally in love. Sapphire is also in love with Silver and he loves her, but they both enjoy taunting Steel more than they enjoy actually being together. Gold is TOTALLY in love with Steel and hates Sapphire because he's mad jealous of her. He also hates Silver because, despite everything, Steel respects Silver, and both Steel and Sapphire trust Silver more than they trust Gold.

Ruby was in love with Steel, but I think she's gotten over it and is now falling for Sapphire. There were several lines in Second Sight that came across as VERY flirty. And Steel totally sounded annoyed and a little jealous about it. Not to mention that the major rift between Sapphire and Steel was about Ruby.

So, there you have it. I have officially shipped all of these characters. I could even go into my theories about the Elements who we've never met but have only been spoken about. Jet and Lead are apparently an item. And Mercury and Silver seem to be pretty close...

I need help. And a less pathetic hobby.

ETA: THIS IS THE SHIPPIEST/SLASHIEST AUDIO OF THEM ALL. I'm actually laughing out loud at how absurdly shippy this is. Bravo, BF!

Gold and Ruby are recurring characters in the audios. Gold is played brilliantly by Mark Gatiss and Ruby is played by (the love of my life) Lisa Bowerman. But they mention a whole bunch of others. Lots of infighting and bitchiness. It's DIVINE.

I've been wanting for ages the fic about Gold and his great love for Steel. I love how Zero wouldn't've even happened if Steel was capable of being nice to people, but he isn't.

There are very few pairings I don't ship for S&S. While one and I'd probably change my mind for the right Steel/Silver fic, but I've yet to find it. Despite it being strangely popular.

YES! Gold is so ridiculously in love with Steel I keep pausing this audio out of utter shock that they've made it so insanely TEXTUAL. I mean, there is barely anything sub about this text. And I agree, I pretty much could ship any of them.

But I gotta say. This is BY FAR my favorite audio in the entire series. I'm beside myself listening to this. As soon as it's over, I just know I'm gonna start from the beginning again.

Gold's entire motivation is rejected love. Steel didn't love him enough so Gold went evil. It's brilliant and amazing and I love it to little bits. The Perfect Day was pretty textual at times as well.

I think Daisy Chain will always be my favorite, but this is in my top 5.

Daisy Chain is marvelous. That's definitely my number 2. I just got to the part with Silver's speech to Sapphire and I'm crying. Fuck, this is so good.

S&S is so very good. It's the one fandom where most of my icons for it are made by me. Meaning I took a screencap and resized it, but the point is that I actually went out and made things for it.

I have so much love for this show. If more people made icons I know I'd end up deleted some Who to make room. You should post some stuff on sapphirensteel.

Meanwhile, that ending was AMAZING. I've never loved Sapphire more.

Now I'm listening to the finale and Louise is such a wonderful surprise! I only with BF would stop setting audios in the US. The "american" accents always make my ears bleed.

So many things about Wall of Darkness just annoyed me. Not the least of which is that I've never been to a mall that in any way resembled the one it takes place in. What's with the actual doors for the stores?

I've resigned myself to the fact that, as much as I love Big Finish, they will never do proper American accents. I'd consider it a big win if two people had the same accent, especially if they were related.

Yeah, I'm really not digging this one. What a waste of Louise. The writing isn't particularly good, I gotta go see who's responsible for this. I've been to malls like the one in the story, but the accents and the boring plot, I'm just not into it. Blech. I shouldn't have listened to this after the brilliance of Zero.

Mwahahhaa Zero is my all time favorite S&S audio. When it came in the mail I shut myself in my room listening to it nonstop... then sobbing through a few tracks because David Collings just does that to me. Though it was nice to see that he and Steel were on better terms in Zero than in All Fall Down and Dead Man Walking...

I totally cried when Silver was talking to Sapphire as he "floated away." I was listening to it again on the metro on the way home last night, and even knowing what was going to happen, I totally teared up again. SO F-ING GOOD!!!!

Awww I'm glad! The chibis I think are probably the only thing I do right lol Oh I'm taking commissions all right :D I still have to send you another note on the prices on the Sculpts you asked for, but if you want some chibis from S&S I'd go for it :B
