That's it. I've had it with being grumpy fan. I learned a long time ago that if fandom wasn't fun it was a waste of my time and I'm sad that over the last few days I've kinda forgotten that lesson. So, to remind myself why I spend so much of my time obsessing over Doctor Who, and why that time is NOT a waste, I've decided to do a picspam. Why? Because picspams bring my insane amounts of joy. I've already done a bunch of Who-related picspams, so I decided to try something a little different this time. I wanted to find a pic of every single companion (book companions excepted, for obvious reasons) that was (1) not a screencap; (2) not Who-promo related; and (3) that I think really captures what I love about the actor and the character they play. I've done my best, but obviously some were a lot easier than others. Hopefully you haven't seen all of these before. And if you have any pics you like better, SHARE!

Lisa Bowerman is one HELL of a hard woman to find photos of. Supposedly she will be attending one of the cons I am going to this year, which would be awesome. I'll definitely have to get some pics of my own.


I honestly can't stand Daphne Ashbrook, but I must admit this pic is just perfect. She looks so fresh-faced and pretty.


India's got eyes like a chibi. It's absurd.




This one cracks me up. It seems so random!


Another one I had a lot of trouble choosing. She looks so forced or uncomfortable in so many of her posed shoots. In this pic, though, I think she looks genuinely happy. And that makes her 100 times sexier.


I fully support this trend of male companions taking it all off. FULLY support.


Say what you will, I love Jack. And I think Barrowman takes a DAMN fine photo.

I've seen a bunch of other shots from this set, but this one's my favorite. She looks so happy and confident. Very sexy.

So, there you have it. Companions kick ASS and I love them all. Yeah, even Adric and Grace. What can I say? I'm easy. And the Doctor has damn good taste. ;-)

I can't pick a favorite out of all of these; they all just look so lovely and happy. I love shots where the actors look happy.

And oh, sometimes I forget just how pretty Nicola Bryant is. She really is lovely, and it's a shame that so many pictures are just of her cleavage. And whoa damn, is that really Jackie Hill? Why haven't I seen that picture before?

And Deborah Watling...Deborah Watling. Oh my. She's so cute.

YES! That's my favorite and I was trying so hard to find a happy pic of each actor. Some of the older ones, the pickings were too slim. And with Freema...well, come on now. That pic is so hot it hurts to look at it.

I'm almost positive. It took me forever to try and find a second source just to be sure. It's crazy awesome.

Beautiful! A lot of shots I'd never seen - love the one of Tegan, and I'd never have guessed that was Mel, actually, if it weren't for the ordering. Actually, to check - after Charley, I take it that's C'rizz, but then the next woman - is it Lucie? I'm not very up on my Eighth Doctor BF companions. :/

Beautiful, beautiful picture of Billie, and what an interesting one of Barrowman - and you know I love you for the Phil Olivier shot - excellent choice. There are some very awesome shots of him out there, heh. Also the Jackie Lane photo is gooooorgeous, how wonderful!

Oh, and I totally picked that Hex one thinking of you. I love all his nudey shots, but I think that one's my fave because you can see his fine, fine ass in the reflection. Mmmmmmm.
