I kind of wish I had waited until next week to watch this episode because I hate waiting for more. HATE!

I went back last night and rewatched SitL/FotD and holy hell. My take on River is SO DIFFERENT NOW than it was when she was first introduced. The scene where she realizes her really DOESN'T know her? I was crying my little eyes out.

She is fantastic. I love how he called her Mrs Robinson. I loved how she kept firing the gun even when it was out of bullets. I love how devestated she was and yet still holding it together.

The Silence were creepy but not terrifying. I LOVED MARK SHEPPARD HE IS SO EFFING FANTASTIC IN EVERYTHING.

I was just commenting on twitter how I wouldn't have even know Mark Sheppard's name if everyone hadn't been going on and on about him. He looked familiar, but apparently the only thing I really remember seeing him in was Firefly. Why is he so popular? I looked at his imdb and it looks like he's only ever been a guest-star on tv shows. Weird.
